Thursday, November 27, Moon leaves Aquarius and enters Pisces. Pisces has a way of putting people in their feels. We are linking people in there feels with Thanksgiving. It can be a day of open communication and heartfelt connections. It can also be a day when we are overly emotional and sensitive to others’ behaviors and words. Knowing this ahead of time will help in two ways: first, we can acknowledge our feelings and create healthy boundaries towards people, places, and things that may trigger an explosive response; second, we can be empathetic to others as they are not in the right headspace and can express things that are purely emotional and not necessarily true. Notice that I mentioned boundaries at the beginning. Holding space does not mean that we allow for another to feel better at our expense. Statements such as; Help me understand your perspective (which forces a person to repeat themselves) or We don’t have to agree to move forward, we only need to decide what’s next (which implies “I do not need your approval, but I would like to know what you desire to determine the boundary I will create).
